Fees and program outline (see subpages below for registration and contract)

Program suitable for male and female participants ages 17 +

One week program................$1000
Two week program................$1800
Three week program.............$2600
* Activity fee ( all participants ) one week- $150; two weeks- $200; three weeks-$300
These fees include: entrance to historical sites, museums, galleries and special events; rental of equipment for sports and recreation, fees for sailing and whale-watching.

Maximum 6 participants for each learning week. Exceptions possible with two weeks notice for groups more than 6.
Any group with a specific learning request ( academic or career-oriented ) can request a tailored program,
with 30 days notice. These programs will provide facilitation from a professional instructor in the specified study area.

Fees Include:
  • Sleeping accommodations for each guest
  • Male and female separate sleeping quarters and washroom facilities in the home
  • Male and female on-site staff and hosts available 24hr/day for guests
  • Daily housekeeping
  • Breakfast, dinner and supper at home except when on pre-scheduled outing
  • Meals provided on trips and outings
  • Transportation to and from Halifax Stanfield International Airport or Sydney Airport (Nova Scotia)
  • Transportation for trips to activities and touring
  • First aid supplies on-site
  • Activity supplies and instructor fees

Participants are responsible for their own travel arrangements and health insurance policy.
Fees do not include spending money for souvenirs or personal items or any activities that occur outside the program.
We suggest that the participants set up a bank account that they can access in Canada through interact services in major banks. 

You may not require a Visa to visit Canada, however, all participants must have a valid passport. We strongly suggest that you visit the Citizenship and Immigration Canada website for further information and travel advice.
